The Christian Democrats of Newberg is a student-led, nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness and building community around the values of Christian democracy in Newberg, Oregon. Though we are college-run, we operate independently and are not formally affiliated with any academic institution.
We believe that faith and progressive values can — and should — coexist. Rooted in principles of social justice, compassion, and stewardship, we aim to create spaces for thoughtful dialogue, civic engagement, and meaningful action on issues that matter to our community.
Whether it’s advocating for the marginalized, promoting economic fairness, or protecting our environment, we are committed to a vision of politics that reflects both our moral convictions and our democratic ideals.

Our Events/Services
Peaceful Protests. We organize nonviolent demonstrations to stand up for justice, equality, and compassion. Our protests focus on issues ranging from immigrant rights to healthcare access, always grounded in respect and solidarity.
Community Service. Service is at the heart of our mission. Whether it’s neighborhood cleanups, volunteering with local shelters, or partnering with other advocacy groups, we’re committed to showing up where we’re needed most.
Election Advocacy. We work to empower voters and support democratic participation through voter registration drives, candidate education, and issue-focused outreach — all nonpartisan and community-focused.
